Yes, I am admiring a Chinese guy for the time being. Actually,
he is not a typical Chinese guy, who can be seen along streets promoting
products, but he is a DOCTOR!! Can you
believe it? I admired a physician??? Amboi, dahlah doktor, Cina pulak tuh, ko
ingat korang boleh bersama kerrr?? I know that we will never be together, because
of our backgrounds, because we do not even know each other, but admiring a
person is never wrong, right?hehehe, saje.
Why I admired him? Because he…
1. Is a funny guy.
2. Respects other people
(nurses, patients, other physicians, etc…)
3. Is friendly.
And, he is sooooooo cute too, hahaha, but that is the last
point, ok. During my first day, our first meeting moment *perghhh,
uwekkkk*,
he came besides me (at that time, I was jot down something on a paper, with the
paper was not placed facing me laterally),
He: “Eh, kenapa tulis senget macam ni? Bukan macam
ni ke??” (while correcting the paper to be lateral towards me).
His action shown that he just wants to make a joke or
something with me, but his face was so serious, still looking at me, waiting
for my answer, maybe. I looked at him back, but I was confused whether want to
laugh because of his joke or to be serious just like him. So, I just replied
shortly, “Erm, saya dah biasa tulis macam ni, saya left-handed”.
Huh, sekali rasa keliru.
A few hours later, we were ordered to do an ECG to a new
admitted patient. As students we usually ask nurses or doctors to check the
result before terminate the ECG lead placements on patient’s body, in case we
need to repeat the reading. As he’s around at that time, I asked him,
Me: “Doktor, OK tak reading ni, ke nak repeat lagi
sekali?”
He: (pointed his finger on the ECG paper, to a
statement that stated ‘A NORMAL ECG’) “Ni tulis NORMAL ni, OK la ni” *again with serious tone*
Me: “Owh, ok!” (turned to finish my work with the
patient).
Then,
He: “Adik! tolong repeat lagi sekali ye?”
Me: ????????????????????????
Dua kali rasa keliru.
*“A NORMAL ECG” stated
on the ECG paper just to indicate that the patient’s heart has no problem and
still in good functions. No other meaning.
There was a CVA patient being admitted to the ward and he
became the doctor-in-charge for the patient. During assessing and questioning the
patient, he suddenly ran out from the room, leaving the patient and his family,
wondering. They asked me whether the doctor is done with the assessment because
the patient wants to rest. Then, I found him washing his hands at the sink.
Me: “Doktor dah siap ke assess patient CVA tadi
tu?”
He: “Belom lagi, tapi saya dah tak tahu nak
tanya apa kat dia, sebab tu saya keluar sekejap.hehe”
He’s smiling, and his answer made me and my friends laugh. Oh
well, now we knew that washing hands is one of the effective ways to gain
ideas!
Kali ni dah tak keliru sebab saya dah buat keputusan untuk
gelak. Haha.
